Hey all, this is Emily posting today. Andrew and I have all kinds of things to get caught up on and post (coming soon), but I wanted to post this fun little story. So, a few weeks ago Andy and I were about to shoot an engagement session in Papago Park (see that post below), and we decided to show up an hour early to explore and check out the lighting and location. While we were walking up the mountain (and not easily with my big 'ole belly :)), I spotted the MOST ADORABLE couple ever. They were taking pictures of themselves on the mountain... actually he was mostly taking pictures of her... you could tell that he's totally captivated by her beauty. :) I thought "I have to meet this couple. They are just too cute." So I offered to take a picture of them together with their camera. They thanked me and went on their way... but it wasn't enough for me. I said "Andy, that couple is so cute and I really want to take some pictures of them! Do you think it would be awkward if I asked them to take pictures of them since they have no idea who we are?" Regardless of Andy's response, I was already headed down to find them again! To my excitement, they agreed on some pictures!! I'm sure they are still thinking I am crazy... but photography is SO beautiful that I never want to miss an opportunity to capture beautiful people... especially when they seem so in love... So here they are!
He totally LOVES her!
How stunning is she...? :)
I can't say this enough, but I just love when I see men so captivated and in love with their wives. That's the way it's supposed to be. I am totally fine being considered "the weaker sex", because my womanly heart cries out to be adored and loved. I thank God for the good men in this world who KNOW how to love a woman!
Emily :)
Thank you guys so much for taking our pictures. Your work is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow photographer. I am currently a student at Ohio State University in Lima Ohio. I am working towards my Associate of Arts degree, and I took the photography class they had to offer. I have worked for a portrait studio in the past, have done two weddings, and multiple other photos after the studio job was over. I would like to know what you could help me with when it comes to getting to know what apurture and fstop combos to use in different light settings. I would really love some advice. I absolutely love your photos! They are beautiful! And you are very blessed with your new daughter! I have 2 boys and a princess myself.
