Wedding Shoot: Sanjay & Rebecca

If you read our last post, you already know a little about Sanjay and Rebecca... So as not to be redundant, go back and check it out if you didn't get the chance yesterday. Anyways, I worked pretty hard yesterday and this afternoon and finally finished the slideshow for Sanjay and Rebecca's wedding... To view the slide show click HERE.

Here are a couple more shots from the day that we love...

I must admit, even being the masculine, football-loving, manly, non-emotional guy that I am (I'm being a bit sarcastic here... except about football, I'm a huge San Diego Chargers fan :), I was a little teary-eyed for the father-daughter dance as well as the mother-son dance. I hope Rebecca doesn't mind me telling the story, but she broke down into tears when the DJ called for the bride to meet her father on the dance floor... her dad came out with a look of determination, holding the emotions back himself. Well when she broke down, the tears came down his cheeks. As his little girl held onto him and danced one more time as his princess, her head was on his chest as she composed herself. She wasn't overly embarrassed about it because the tears were worthy of the moment. One of those times where it's okay to cry in front of a group of people and not feel embarrassed about it.

Well if that wasn't enough, out comes Sanjay and his mom! To get Sanjay's mom, think of the nicest, sweetest lady you have ever met... so very giving and wonderful... Sanjay, in fact, is her adopted son. But apart from the difference of appearance, you would never know it. So she wraps her arms underneath his and around his back. Her boy that she has loved and raised, her very own son, was married and both of them misty-eyed with the fact that his new bride is now the most important woman in his life... It was a special moment for all there, myself included.

Love this one!!!!! BTW, this kid looks just like a boy-version of our baby-girl Temple!
