A Southern Swoop Onesie

It is quiet in my house today. Temple is napping and Andrew and I are editing pictures from our most recent wedding and booking new weddings and cleaning up our little office. We absolutely LOVE what we do to the point where keeping our books and straightening our desk is a complete joy to me! Because editing pictures from an entire wedding can take between 20-30 hours, we do not quite have another post for you from our Pennsylvania wedding, but I promise, it is coming soon! Instead I am going to write about my favorite little thing in the whole world: Temple. :)

This past January (a month before Temple was born), my sister was throwing me a baby shower and all the hustle and bustle in my family and friend's lives was the arrival of Temple. She was a MUCH anticipated little girl! In early January I received a package in the mail to "Temple Jade Fleming". It was so strange to see her name written out on the package. Like she was actually a REAL person and she was not even born yet! I ripped open the package to find 5 ADORABLE hand-made onesies! I was so thrilled ( I ADORE handmade things and especially love when someone takes the time to bless Temple with them). They were from a good friend of mine, Joanna Ballentine. You might remember Joanna from some of our first blog posts about our trip to Ireland & Spain. She and her (now) husband Robbie went with us and it was a blast! They now live in the heart of the south in sweet home Alabama. She makes all sorts of little handmade things; she is just about the most creative person I have ever met. She blogs about a lot of here A SOUTHERN SWOOP BLOG. Check it out!

So this morning Temple was playing and I decided to put the Onesies on her. They finally fit her now, but they are too precious to me to let her wear and spit-up all over so they are hanging in an adorable arrangement on her bedroom wall. But today, she got to be mommy's little model.
Check out this adorableness!

Joanna knows that I have a HUGE heart for Africa. I decorate my home African, I LOVE to collect maps and things from Africa; I even have the continent tattooed on my finger. I long to live among the people there someday and start some awesome ministries. Anyway, we are hoping Temple starts early and develops a heart for the precious continent too!

Here is my second favorite onesie. Aren't these flowers rad? Not to mention how well they compliment that sweet face.

I could not manage to get her in all 5 before she got upset with all the costume changes, but here is my 3rd favorite (and I think you get the idea. :))

  1. She is SO ADORABLE!!!!! I love the last ones because she is a naked baby. And the one with her hand up makes me want to say "Temple? You have a question?"
