Rain in Phoenix in July?

Every once in a while, we, here in the Valley of the Sun have a respite from the scorching heat of the summer and we get weather that, for us, is unusual. Today was one of those days when it started pouring rain :) You can imagine that in a state with 360 days of sun a year, we welcome anything that is different every once in a while. Emily, Temple and I were literally about to walk out the door to go swimming. Since we were already in our swimsuits, we decided to make a moment of it and go out into the rain. :) This was Temple's first time experiencing rain. She was pretty surprised at first and didn't quite like it. After I wrapped her in a towel, though, she REALLY enjoyed it! Check it out.
