It's so funny when she gets to the end of her bottle because all of a sudden her eyes get real big and she is sucking but nothing's coming out :D. She then takes the bottle out of her mouth; she must examine the situation to see where the problem is. There was stuff in there before and now there isn't, hmmm... When she can't figure it out, she just puts it back in her mouth hoping the problem has fixed itself... Priceless :)

SO big!
One of my favorite things about Temple is watching her learn how to do new things. She does different things every day that are so simple but to a watching parent they are priceless. I never took notice of what other people's kids could or couldn't do, I wasn't around kids that much before Temple as a matter of fact. :) But when you really think about how incredible it is to see a little person who can't walk or talk or do much of anything, to see that little person learn how to say 'Ma!' or smile or grab everything within reach!... That is a cool thing to experience and knowing that you had a small part of helping her get to this point makes it even more amazing. One of the things Temple has recently picked up is holding her own bottle. This is one of the most freeing experiences for a parent, by the way! :D You no longer have to hold her and be inept to whatever else you need to do. You can just give her the bottle and let her do her thing. It's magical! Not saying that we NEVER hold her when she is feeding, but the freedom is still great nonetheless :)
She gets her Thunder Thighs from her daddy :) Notice how the bottle is out and she is investigating. Then, of course, she gives up and just stares at me with that all too knowing expression... "Really dad? Really?"
