What we do for fun

If you have a baby, you probably know that your options are a bit limited when it comes to what you do for fun... We didn't really know the extent of this until we had Temple; I'm sure the more kids you have, the more creative you have to get :D So we have to try to find unorthodox ways to spend our time. One thing we like to do is to go to this gas station that has both a Dunkin Donuts AND a car wash :). Sounds lame right? Actually, this is a great time for us. First, Temple is completely preoccupied with the people cleaning the cars! :) She could just stare for hours at the guys as they bring car after car... she never gets bored of it, NEVER :) Plus, we get to enjoy some sun and relaxation without Temple demanding our attention. Anyone out there have any other fun family activities that you want to share?

Emily says Temple gets all her expressions from me... I beg to differ :)

Donuts, $2.74. Coffee, $1.49. Temple entertained for an entire hour, priceless.

I have two girls Lilly is 5 and Sophia is almost 3. this does require some work on the parents part but one of the fun things that i have done with my girls is food coloring( kool aid works too) and shaving cream! let them goo crazy!! i get a kiddy pool, cheap walmart brand and have at it! i am a single mom so its great on the wallet and its super easy to clean up! its so much fun to play with and when they were much younger girls the new texture of the shaving cream was so new and exciting to them. And now almost 5 years later my oldest Lilliana still loves to play with it!
