An Engagement shoot: Samuel and Anna

Anna has been following Emily and I's work for a while now, so when they got engaged, she knew that she wanted us to do their photography. And, of course, that makes us happy :) One, that we get to shoot a wedding because we love what we do, and two because we are doing it for a couple that loves our work. :) So we are really excited to shoot their wedding in a few months... We did their engagement shoot a week or so ago and had a great time doing it. Here you go... Let us know what you think! :)

Our first spot was in Anna's backyard, believe it or not... I was happy with this because, although we did an Estrella photo shoot, I didn't want it to look too much like that's where we were...

Then we headed over to the dock on North Lake.

You would have to ask Sam about the stuffed animal, it has a lot of meaning to them so we did a couple shots with it :) Here is my favorite.

Then we went on impulse and finished up at Safeway grocery store... A bit more vintage than usual for us, but really fun :) We didn't have much time left so we just took a few pics... Sam and Anna are both involved in Younglife, a Christian High School mentorship organization. They wanted to get some pictures with their Younglife shirts on so we did...

Love the roller skates :)
