Kauai Wedding Photographer: Caleb and Sarah's Engagement Shoot

If you saw the pictures we posted for Patrick and Robyn's vow renewal, you should have a good understanding why Kauai is the most gorgeous place I have ever been. The entire island is so breath taking I cannot even put it into words! You just have to see it for yourself... go ahead, I'll wait while you book your ticket :)

Caleb and Sarah's shoot was so much fun and Emily and I cannot get enough of the scenery that Hanalei Bay has to offer! Amazing mountains covered in clouds with waterfalls, a fun little shopping center with it's coffee shops and restaurants, and a beach that would stop the most experienced of travelers for a glance. And on top of that, Caleb and Sarah are such a fun and unique couple. Caleb is one of the goofiest guys I know, but is also so captivated by his soon-to-be bride that it's sometimes uncomfortable to be around ;) And Sarah is just one of those girls that knows how lucky she is to have someone pursue her and adore her the way Caleb does (not to mention she's our killer second shooter when Emily is with the kids!). So being that we know Caleb and Sarah so well, we really wanted to knock this shoot out of the park. Not that we don't always want that, but when you are in Kauai and have the scenery to work with, unlike most of Phoenix, you get the idea! It's a really cool story how they got together, you'll just have to hear it from them yourselves. :)

They wanted to do a photo shoot with the best of both worlds; the beautiful scenery of Hawaii and a fun and edgy style using artistic creativity to show their personalities and their affection. This is one of my personal favorite shoots, and I think you will see why as you see more. Enjoy...

If I lost all of the images of this shoot and had to take a plane all the way their just for this one shot, I would do it. Seriously :)

A quote from the movie 'Into The Wild'... "Happiness is only real when it's shared". I am very happy for Caleb and Sarah; they have found a love to share with each other and are truly blessed for it.

  1. I love these two people so much! They are SO cute! My favorite is the one on the bike, where they are kissing and the one on the restaurant porch with the other people. That was so COOL!
