Phoenix Wedding Photographer: John + Sharri

Happy Thursday everyone! Did anyone else forget to put out the recycle bin this morning? Our bin is so full that the lid is resting on a bunch of plastic throwaways; it's begging to be emptied :) So when I heard the garbage man drive by this morning at 7am, I immediately thought about that blue bin sitting in my backyard collecting heat and filled to the brim. Oh well, there's always next week ;)

John and Sharri are in their middle years of life and they are one really cool couple! They are this great down-to-Earth Christian couple who love the Lord and have left behind all the religiosity that often comes with faith. They also seem like the type that are not easily influenced by others, but are the influencers wherever they are. The love that their friends and family have for them was so amazing to witness, as well as their personal love for each other. They both have kids from previous relationships, and I am always impressed, no, in AWE of, people that are able to carry on meaningful and functional relationships with their kids in the teenage years. I remember what my teenage life was like and I would not wish that upon any parent! :D

They were married in Scottsdale at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club overlooking the golf course with it's lakes. It was a simple and sweet wedding followed by FIREWORKS, and I'm speaking literally here :) Sharri surprised John with fireworks towards the end of the reception and it was a moment to remember!
