Emily and I had the honor of shooting Bobby and Ajshia's wedding a week ago last Sunday at a place we have been curious about ever since we found out about it, the Bentley Projects. This is a really cool building that doubles as an art gallery, corporate meeting venue, and just about anything else you can think of. They had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of art on the walls which provided a really classy ambience for Bobby and Ajshia's wedding.
We did their engagement session back in the summer and ever since then, we were SO excited to shoot Bobby and Ajshia's wedding! They are so easy going and have a confidence in front of the camera that is pretty rare; most people (including Emily and I, so we aren't talking bad about anyone here :) would rather not be in front of the lens. Bobby and Ajshia though warmed up immediately, plus it doesn't hurt to be so photogenic ;)
Here are some of our favorite images from their wedding, enjoy!
After the ceremony, we headed a couple blocks down the road to this historic building for their couples shoot.
One of Bobby's groomsmen likes backing that thing up into... everything :)
Needless to say, it was a killer wedding and a really fun photo shoot for Emily and I! Bobby and Ajshia, we had a great time and hope to keep in touch in the near future when you start having some adorable babies :)
Andrew :)
awesome pictures as usual!
ReplyDeleteawesome location! i would have never thought to have a wedding at the Bentley Project!
ReplyDelete@Abigail - I know! Yet it makes the raddest venue for that contrasting grungy urban/classy wedding feel. It's in a crazy part of town with houses literally right across the street and it's a pretty rough neighborhood, but on the inside it is such a great space!
