Wedding Shoot: Mike and Alicia

When Mike and Alicia decided to move up their wedding date, they let us know about it and made sure we knew we didn't need to be there... they were obviously being incredibly considerate and didn't even ask us if we would be willing to stop by and take some quick shots.  Instead of having a normal sized wedding, they only had immediate family there and it was a very quick event so they didn't want to trouble us to come and instead said we could just keep the same date when they were going to have the reception with the big crowd.  Of course this didn't fly with us :) Em and I both immediately were touched with their thoughtfulness, and then dismissed their kindness and informed them that we WOULD most definitely be there no matter what (unless baby Temple decided to come early, that is :) Luckily, Em didn't go into labor before then and we were able to attend and capture some images of MIke and Alicia's big day.  I fell in love with the simplicity of the ceremony... it maybe lasted 20 minutes and fell short of a lot of the traditions found in most weddings; that wouldn't have fit their personalities. They just wanted to get married and didn't need a grand and ornate ceremony.  Here are some choice pictures we captured...

I find it funny that women do the open mouth example when helping someone with their lipstick :)
