Senior Pictures: Dallas Maddox

Emily and I did a senior picture photo shoot a couple weekends ago... actually, it was Emily, myself, and Temple came along for the ride because she wants to see what mommy and daddy do for a living... she did great, no fussing whatsoever. She probably knew that we wouldn't take her with us next time if she threw a fit :)

We met Dallas and her mom Teresa through Em's sister Aubrey. Teresa is an absolute trip! So much fun to talk with (I've always been a sucker for a southern accent ever since I lived in Texas a few years back... makes me miss all my friends down in Tyler, Tx :) And if you would think that Teresa is fun, Dallas is definitely her mother's daughter! She was so much fun to work with; bouncing from here to there and throwing in humorous expressions which always make a photo shoot exciting. She even obliged me and did some out-of-the-box pictures (hence the tiger claw picture :)

The shoot wasn't without drawbacks; the spot that we had picked out was crowded with saturday afternoon loungers drinking beer and wine under some Verrado shade... great for them, but we wanted the fountain :) However, Verrado never ceases to provide diamonds if you try hard enough to find them.

A couple hours later we were done with the day's work and saying our goodbyes... exchanging business cards as well, as Teresa does makeup and tan for proms, weddings, etc... if you are looking for someone to do your makeup she should be your first stop! Just let me know if you need her services and I will get her contact information for you.

As always, leave a comment and let us know what you think. If you don't have a Blogger account, that's alright you can still post as anonymous. We like to see what our viewers think of our work :)

I've always found the term 'cute as a button' a bit odd... I don't go around looking at buttons and thinking how cute they are... with that said, she is what the phrase means. :)

  2. Andrew and Emily, You did a wonderful photo shoot of my precious granddaughter, Dallas. You are so right,I'm not at all prejudiced,Dallas is a real trip! Dallas has a lot of her daddy's quick humor and her mother's traits. I too wish you could have had the fountain, however, I have to say you did an awesome job of picking the sites you picked and the pictures are all so natural. Dallas has grown to be a beautiful young lady. I am so proud of her!! Grammy Sylvia Maddox-Hollett
