A Wedding Post: Ed & Hillary

The last weekend in June, Andrew and I shot Ed & Hillary's wedding at the Boojum Tree in Phoenix. We both adore the Boojum Tree and are looking forward to shooting another wedding there in February! Yay! ;)

I met Hillary at church when we were both pre-teens, and our moms have stayed friends ever since. They get together all the time, in fact, my mom helped plan a lot of Hillary's wedding. Ed & Hillary met at work (Starbucks), and they actually have a cute story because Ed had his eyes on Hillary from the moment he met her. Finally, after a long wait and confessing his hidden feelings, he got his bride. ;) They are both very simple people and knew they did not want their wedding to be a HUGE ordeal. They decided to get married at the Boojum Tree, and if you are familiar with the Boojum Tree, you know that you do not need many decorations or wedding "things" because the Boojum speaks for itself. It is covered in plants and vintage type decor. They had a morning wedding for just a few hours, and the reception consisted of some cupcakes, some mingling, and then they were off! They were so giddy and excited to be married the day of, it was just beaming off of them! This was the shortest wedding we have ever shot, but the time did not downplay just how precious and intimate of a wedding it was.

So, without further ado, here are some fun pictures from their big day:
