Birthing Fall

Andrew here, how is everyone? I don't know about all of you who live in Phoenix with us, but we are ready for the Fall! For some reason people here think that Summer is a 3 month thing... They say "Oh it's 3 months of heat and then 9 months of heaven" or something along those lines. Yeah, not true :) And you know how I know? Because every time September roles around everyone starts talking about how long the Summer has been and how long it's taking for Autumn to come and so forth. Well I propose we change our thinking which will make the truth a little easier to swallow... I think we should all just accept the fact that Summer ACTUALLY lasts until the end of October in Phoenix :D Wouldn't that make it easier? It makes me think of pregnancy which I know ALL about (kidding here :) Think about that all powerful due date and how you just can't wait to get to your due date because that means that the baby is coming that very day because the doctor said that's when the baby is due. Right? And what happens when you pass the due date? Let's just say it's not daisies and daffodils with a splash of happy sunshine :) So why is it that every year we convince ourselves that in September, the Fall is right around the corner? I am not going to fall into that trap again this year, no way. For me, I'm going to imagine that the Fall is coming in December and I will have a pleasant surprise when November roles around and I'm putting on my sweater :)

Emily and I took on the challenge of (drum roll please...) DUSTING our home today! This was no simple task as the last time we dusted we would be too embarrassed to tell all of our wonderful clients and blog readers. We aren't slobs by any means but you can understand how a house can get messy with a little 6 month old bundle of happiness (daddy loves you Temple :) wanting your attention all the time. So we decided to put our foot down and finally switched from "I'll do it next weekend" to "Let's do it"! While dusting we found items that helped us with the task. I didn't know air pollution could be worse while dusting than during rush hour in Bangkok but it's true!

We found bandanas which, as you all know, make the time go by faster... And keep you from getting pneumonia when cleaning your home :)
