For Emily and I it has been a great week. It's Em's birthday week so she has 500 'Happy Birthdays' on her facebook wall :) I don't remember getting that much love for MY birthday... those of you who 'happy birthday'ed Em's facebook and are reading this, my birthday is February 25th :D So I took Em out to our FAVORITE place to eat on Earth, The Wild Thaiger.
If you like Thai food and are looking for an amazing culinary experience in the Valley, this is absolutely the place to go! We save it for special occasions so that we never take it for granted. We are ridiculous though because we always get the same things! The Satay Sampler for an appetizer, I get the Pad Thai and she gets the Chicken Panang. EVERY TIME :)
My wife got all dolled up and we headed out after dropping Temple off with Grandma (one of the best things about having family in town!) The Wild Thaiger did not disappoint once again. Emily will tell you that when we go there all I talk about is the food :) We didn't want to cart around the 5d so we took our little Canon Powershot. Unfortunately, we left the setting on SMALL for image size so these are all really tiny but oh well. :)
You know you are a lucky guy when you have such a beautiful and vibrant wife like I do. I consider it a blessing to have her as my wife and life partner.
aww I love this post :D y'all are so cute!! I work literally just down the street from that place and have never been there!!! And I've been to a LOT of thai places!!!!!! (the fiance and I absolutely LOOVVVEEEE thai food) We're definitely putting this place on our list of new places to try!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun birthday! You guys have to get over to Thailand one day (If you haven't already!) Singha beer is SUPER cheap, and the stuff you ate would probably be close to $4.00 total! It's incredible!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Em, and good job affirming your gorgeous wife! It's always nice to have our husbands affirming us! Because, really... you're all that matter to us girls!
Happy birthday and great choice of restaurant. Michael and I love Wild Thaiger, too. We can't wait to meet you all at Latitude Eight sometime to see what you think.
