So I don't know how they financially keep this thing afloat here but they must be making money somehow :) Anyway, we still had a great time. We sat in the loudest section with the most obnoxious fans screaming at the opposing goalie and with a cheer mocking him anytime the Coyotes scored. It went something like "He shoots! He scores! Hey goalie! You suck!" None of us really follow the NHL so we just hung out and enjoyed ourselves. It's always vital to get some time with the guys and this was a great way to do it; go to a hockey game and pretend like we know who all the players are and that we know what we are talking about. :)

My experience with Hockey
Ever since The 2002 Winter Olympics, I have been a fan of Hockey... I was never a fan before then, I just found it so boring. But something about seeing the U.S. playing against these other hockey giants like Russia and Canada inspired me and I have been a fan since... I still don't watch NHL games, I mostly stick to Olympic Hockey, but Caleb invited me to go to the Phoenix Coyotes first home game of the season last night so I went. I am glad I did, but I was really shocked at what I saw. Mind you, this is a professional sports club, and these guys make a grip of cash for playing I am used to seeing other professional games like Basketball, Baseball, and Football. I don't know if it is just because we aren't very excited about hockey here in Phoenix, but I swear I have seen more fans at high school football games than attended this one! I couldn't believe my eyes!
This was warming up 5 minutes before the game... the seats didn't fill up much more than this...
This is how we watch hockey... Jason explaining to Caleb that they are going to put in Gretzky before the game is over... He shoots all the best free-throw goals. Don't ask... Apparently the Coyotes aren't very good, but they managed to kill the Kings... This is after they scored their 4th goal to clinch the win. Don't mind the creepy dude staring at my camera :)
