Go Caleb!

My brother in law, Caleb, whom you might recognize if you have been following our blog for a while, has been dating Emily's best friend Sarah for a while now... I think they are going on 6 months and we all knew they were planning on marriage from the moment they started seeing each other. Caleb waited for 2 years before he told Sarah how he felt about her; in that time, they grew an amazing friendship and no one really suspected anything. In fact, I was getting worried about Caleb because he's the kind of guy that is always being pursued by girls. The weird thing was that he never showed interest in them... and I mean NEVER! This is not normal for a guy his age, so there was definitely reason to worry! :)

Things all became clear one day when Caleb came over to our place and told us his story; how he has been crazy in love with Sarah for all these years and had been waiting for the right time to tell her. I must admit that I was impressed! First, that he was in love with her for all that time without giving it away and, second, that their age difference wasn't even a factor in his mind (they are 9 years different in age). But sure enough, when he told Sarah she was smitten :) She has waited for a long time for a guy like Caleb to come along; someone that would pursue her, respect her, love her the way every woman wants to be loved. It's pretty cool, IMO :)

So Caleb finally decided to pop the question a couple weeks ago. He had Emily, Hahna, and Tenisha (Hahna's bestie :) set up sticky notes in Sarah's apartment; he wrote something he loved about Sarah on each one and had them spell out ''Marry me?" when they walked in... pretty rad :)

It doesn't get much hotter than this little pregnant tamale right here :) My wife is the most beautiful pregnant lady I know...

It's kinda hard to read in a photo, but it says 'Marry Me'. Much easier to read in person :)

The plan was that we were all going to show up after he did it. We weren't sure what was going on because it was taking longer for Caleb to give us the signal to come in. So we waited :)

A great moment; Sarah calls her mom to tell her the news. She hands the phone to a surprised Caleb who doesn't know what to say. A wonderful awkward moment of the day. :)

It turned out great and there is already a wedding date set in stone... Emily and I, no surprise here, are doing their photography which we are So excited about. Congrats guys :)
