Jon's Bday and Halloween

It was my cousin Jon's birthday a couple weeks ago so the fam got together for a little party... I didn't know what to get him; I am really not much of a gift person as I do not really like receiving gifts (I may have pride issues, I haven't figured this one out yet :). I didn't want to get him a card from the store as that is pretty impersonal, so Emily and I made him a card from scratch. We just cut up some magazines and tried to be creative as possible... I think we succeeded :) Check it out.

Notice the theme is... well, non-existent I guess. I don't even think it said happy birthday, but it's the thought that counts.

Joshie (my nephew) is getting huge!

Of course it is unthinkable to get children together, dress them like ridiculous creatures, and not take pictures... Temple and Abby love each other :) I don't know if Josh is enjoying himself very much :D

This one is called 'No pride'

We didn't want to take Temple trick-or-treating because she is so young and we haven't decided yet whether or not we are going to let our kids do that even when they get older... This doesn't mean we think that it is evil to let your kids go door to door to get candy, we just aren't sure where we want to stand on the subject yet. So we went to a local church that was having a big event for Halloween. This is where Temple ate her first PICKLE...

...and touched her first SHEEP :)

She loves being up there :D

I don't know why it is so freakin cute to see my daughter dressed up like a farm animal, and a COW to boot, but I am all for it! :)...

  3. It's the tail, for sure. The tail is what makes that pic of Temple so adorable.
