Emily and I shot an engagement shoot together at Tempe Town Lake and Mill Avenue a couple weekends ago for Mark and Candice. I am so excited to shoot Mark and Candice's wedding coming up here in November! Brianna Quidang, one of Candice's best friends, is her wedding coordinator and told Candice about our work. Thanks, Brianna ;) We work pretty closely with Brianna at 12 West Main, the coolest urban event venue in Mesa. Needless to say, with Brianna as Mark and Candice's coordinator extraordinaire, it's gonna be a great wedding to shoot so we are really excited about that.
Mark and Candice wanted some real urban-style photography mixed with some of our usual style, so it was a fun challenge for Emily and I to think outside of the box and get creative :) Here are my some of my favorite shots from their photo shoot.
When we stepped on over to Mill Ave, we went to this rad Irish pub called Rula Bula (means 'fun and good times' or something like that in Gaelic :) They were so laid back about letting us come in and do a bunch of our photo shoot INSIDE the bar; they could've said 'No, we want to prefer our guests' if they wanted to, but the owner was SO cool about it and even let Candice get behind the bar to pour a pint :D After the shoot, Emily and I stopped by here again for a late dinner; this place has really a friendly and down-to-earth staff, not to mention that their fries with curry dipping sauce was to die for... you gotta check this place out if you are ever in the Tempe area.
